Guarantees
I take great care in the quality and sturdiness of my jewelry, but please remember your jewelry is a handcrafted piece with fine materials. I stress test my components and methods of construction to ensure pieces will stay where you want them for a long time to come. My jewelry comes with a 100% guarantee on my craftsmanship. The metal wire I use is always sterling or fine silver and the jewelry wire I use is the highest quality jewelry-grade stainless steel wire available. But with excessive wear (bending, stretching, snagging, pulling, and even dirt build-up), wire strength can be compromised and break. Think of a twist tie that breaks after too many twists.
If your jewelry breaks or becomes damaged, please contact me. I will evaluate it and advise you on the repairs needed. If I cannot replace exact components, I can create a similar design.
Some charges may apply for replacing damaged or broken components. If the damage is obviously due to a manufacturing flaw, components will be replaced at no charge. If the damage is due to excessive wear and tear or impact, there may be charges for individual components replaced. Repairs and cause of damage vary greatly, so each piece must be evaluated to determine what needs to be done. Shipping charges may apply.
Please be extra careful with bracelets. Because of how they are worn and how much we use our hands and arms, bracelets are the most abused piece of jewelry. Crystals and gemstones can chip, crack or shatter with impact. Bracelets are also prone to catching on things and repeated pulling can fray or break jewelry wire. They also tend to get the most dirt and oil build-up, so please try to keep them clean and put away safely when not worn. The build-up of dirt and fibers can stress wire and cause kinks and breakage.
Also, please do not wear any jewelry to bed or in the shower.
Toggle Clasps:
I have researched many toggle clasps and found some very reliable ones that I solely use in my designs. There are 3 factors in toggle clasp reliability. 1) Your jewelry should fit properly, specifically bracelets should not be too loose around your wrist. 2) The toggle bar must be sized properly in relation to the toggle ring. 3) The heavier the piece, the less likely the toggle bar will slip out of the ring. This is one of the benefits of little danglies and charms hanging from the clasp, in addition to how cute it looks! If you ever doubt the reliability of toggle clasp jewelry you are purchasing, put it on securely, making sure the bar is settled and taut through the ring, then shake your wrist.
